Getting the best

The best facial always comes down to the one that is best for you.

Providing the optimal facial for a client is a bit like fitting a puzzle together. It’s about matching the right treatments and technologies, products, techniques, and recommendations to the person’s skin and their goals.

I never understood spas, even extremely expensive and reputable ones, that just offer a preset menu. Or they ask YOU if you want to add on a certain treatment (of course for an upgrade price). Do I need that treatment or not? Did you just do the same exact regimen to the person before me, who had wildly different skin?

That’s why I designed Wild Bird Beauty to be entirely personalized and all-inclusive. It allows me to offer clients exactly what they need, and without the awkward step of having to sell them extras which no one enjoys.

A few other considerations when evaluating where to find the best facial:

  1. Products: Of course the products make a world of difference, and learning to master a product line takes a good amount of training. There are lots of nuances and subtleties to get used to. Your spa shouldn’t be offering 20 different product lines or switch them all the time. I have invested in Savor Beauty products because I have worked with them for years and they are the absolute best boutique, organic, K-beauty-inspired products you will find.

  2. Questions: Does your esthetician ask them? It should feel like your esthetician is working hard to learn about you and your skin. If it feels like they’re just following a pattern, they probably are. Do they follow up a few days after the facial to see how you’re doing? Your esthetician should be trying to build a relationship with you.

  3. Results: Straight up. Does your skin feel great for the next week or two. Do you like the way you look? It shouldn’t take convincing yourself. It should be a no-doubter. A facial should make an obvious, noticeable difference.

Ultimately, if you’re getting the best facial around, you will know it.
